Harmony Hollow proposes an alternative means of installing apps on your Android mobile. Instead of installing apps from Google’s Play Store, you can use Android Injector to install apps from your PC. The app’s APK is on your PC – connect your USB cable and use Android Injector to run the APK and install the app on your Android. It is as simple as that.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I only bring that up because the installation process for Android Injector is presented in the Quick Look video that accompanies this article. If you check it out, then I don’t have to tell you how easy it is to install Android Injector. I will say this though: pay attention during the installation, because the setup wizard will want to install a toolbar, change your default search provider, and change your homepage.

Android Injector’s interface looks like an Android mobile. The following elements are presented on the interface, from top to bottom: selected app files; status; a bar with buttons to select app files, install an app on a device, access the tools menu (check for attached devices, associate with APK files), and access the help menu.

Android Injector is available as a Free and as a Deluxe version. The Deluxe version is not limited in any way, but it costs money. The Free version does not cost money, but it comes with several limitations: limited to 5 app installations, number of apps that can be installed at once limited to 1, no drag and drop support, no Windows shell integration, no priority support, no option to associate with APK files.

Android Injector, because it allows you to install apps on your Android from your PC, can prove to be an interesting alternative to Google’s Play Store.

Pros

It is quite easy to install Android Injector on a Windows PC. Android Injector’s interface looks like an Android mobile. Easily install apps on the Android mobile that is connected via USB to the PC. Android Injector is available as a Free and as a Deluxe version.

Cons

Multiple limitations for the Free version.
